Regarding his death, his wife Mithali said that he was suffering from colon disease and died today. He said his funeral will be held tomorrow. Singer and guitarist Bhupinder Singh are 82 years old.

Bhupinder was born in Amritsar, Punjab and learned guitar and violin. After learning the guitar, he began working as a casual artist at All India Radio under the guidance of music composer Satish Bhatia. He found that Bhupinder Singh’s voice had a different tone and started offering him singing opportunities. It was Bhatia who introduced Mr. Singh to Madan Mohan when the composer visited Delhi.

He is not only a singer but also very good at playing violin and guitar. He has also sung in the films of Bollywood’s leading actors Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Rajkumar and others.
